More strains, but old order holdeth

It is two years since Conductive World quoted this well known passage from Antonio Gramschi (revolutionary)
The old world is dying away, and the new world struggles to come forth: now is the time of monsters
(I love Gramschi's notion of 'monsters', in both the world at large and in the conductive fishbowl).

If one lives at a time of transition to a new historical stage (i.e. in an historical crisis) then expect the old ways of doing things to be a hindrance to doing things in a valid new way, while in the meantime some very things will be created in the confusion.

In many ways the world that we now live in is so far outside the expectations of  only two years back, in others everything goes on just as before. It is the same in the little world of Conductive Education.

Whatever next?
