Free, on line
Special World
'Good title' *

The magazine Special World came on line last year. It is based in the United Kingdom but I gather that some sixty percent of its readership is in the United States. It is concerned particularly with 'the two percent', which is a coy way of saying children whose development is disordered in consequence of the effects of biological conditions, as mediated by their effects upon learning. Special World also, however, covers something of those children whose development is affected by other deleterious factors.

Special World's editor is Mick Archer, one-time Editor of Special Children magazine – recommendation enough.
