NOTHING SO BAD THAT IT CAN'T BE WORSE

Far, farther, farthest in Hungarian politics

A beastiary

Three right-wing parties:
Fidesz – 'central right', by Hungarian standards, runs the country, massive majority in Parliament

Jobbik – far-right by anybody's standards, 17% of Parliamentary seats

Magyar Hajnal – just instituted, will contest Parliamentary seats in next year's election, expects that many voters no longer find Jobbik sufficiently right-wing.
Magyar Sajnal

A new term has recently been appearing in the Hungarian media.

This signifies big lads and a dodgy uniform, with aims of US-style gun law and repealing the Treaty of Trianon (i.e expansion of Hungarian territory back into neighbouring countries).

Look out for it. In English it is pronounced 'Mojar' [sort of rhymes with 'Roger'] 'Hoinal' .

Magyar Hajnal means Hungarian Dawn.
